Welcome to Brown & Co. Bowmanville. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service or product, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Appointments & Booking Policy
Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person.
A valid credit card may be required to secure certain services, including permanent makeup and longer appointments.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate behavior, repeated no-shows, or failure to comply with our policies.
2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of hair services.
Permanent Makeup and tattoo services require a minimum of 48 hours notice.
Failure to provide proper notice may result in:
A cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service
For no-shows, up to 100% of the service cost may be charged
Loss of deposit for permanent makeup or tattoo services
Late arrivals may result in a shortened service time or rescheduling, depending on availability.
3. Deposits
Certain services, including Permanent Makeup (nano brows, powder brows, lip blush, eyeliner) and tattoo services, require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment.
Deposits:
Are applied toward your final service cost
Are transferable one time if proper cancellation notice is given
Are forfeited in the event of a no-show or late cancellation
4. Permanent Makeup & Tattoo Services
Clients must:
Be 18 years or older
Complete a consent and health history form prior to treatment
Disclose any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or pregnancy status
Results may vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare compliance, and healing process.
Touch-ups are not included unless otherwise specified and must be booked within the recommended timeframe.
Brown & Co. is not responsible for unsatisfactory results due to:
Failure to follow aftercare instructions
Previously tattooed or altered skin
Undisclosed medical conditions
5. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.
We accept major credit cards, debit, and cash.
Promotional pricing:
Cannot be combined with other offers
Is valid only during the advertised timeframe
May require full payment at time of booking
6. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of personal services:
All service sales are final.
We do not offer refunds on completed services.
Adjustments may be offered within 7 days of the original appointment at management discretion.
Retail products may be exchanged within 7 days if unopened and in original condition.
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
7. Results Disclaimer
Hair color, permanent makeup, tattoo, and cosmetic services are artistic and customized. While we strive to achieve your desired results, outcomes may vary based on hair condition, skin type, previous treatments, and individual healing.
By booking a service, you acknowledge that:
Results cannot be guaranteed
Maintenance appointments may be required
Proper aftercare is essential
8. Health & Safety
For the safety of all guests:
Clients experiencing contagious illness may be asked to reschedule.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Service animals are welcome; pets are not permitted.
We follow all provincial sanitation and public health regulations.

10. Liability
Brown & Co. Salon is not liable for:

Delayed results due to client non-compliance with aftercare instructions
